I enjoy making my own missions and I know the more recent versions of PF+FB+AEP have new improved clouds. Is there anyway to get variation in clouds in missions that I create (and any other weather for that matter) other than the standard mission editor (Clear, good, hazy etc.)choices? Do the campaign missions randomly generate variable cloud and weather conditions?

Weather does not vary from the default clear, good, hazy, etc.

I guess in the campaign it just randomly picks one of these.

...in the campaign it just randomly picks one of these... ...unless you set the "no bad weather" switch in conf.ini....

I'm currently working on a software utility for the game. One feature is the ability to randomise weather:

Cloud type between user-supplied values, for example 'Good' and 'Hazy'.

Cloud height between user-supplied minimum and maximum altitudes.
[/list]

The weather module is finished and the result is really good. The whole program is getting near the end. The long and winding story begins here...

...and should end sometime in the future. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Wow Nutcase, I'm impressed! The random weather is slick. Sorry for the spelling, I'm tired. Keep up the good work, LongHorn
