Comments found on this site suggest fighter pilots can avoid the red block for 2 minutes or more. Give it a shot and post your times.

Best I got was about 6 seconds

First attempt, .375 seconds because I didn't know exactly what to expect. Second attempt, about the same because I didn't read the part about no hitting the wall.

Third attempt, 15.456 seconds. I'm gonna try and beat that 2 minutes though.

I'm starting to think the same. I can't break 22 seconds for the life of me.

27.5 seconds. After that, I get bumped.

21.45

2 Minutes? I doubt it. Immediately hit the wall & leave it running and see just how fast it goes.

Tried 3 times ended slightly above 25 secs every time. 2mins? I would really like to see somebody do that...

2 minutes is far too much for a person with a real sexual life, I guess they're some nerd just goofing around....

wasn´t there a statement about this test that the faster your rig is the faster this stuff is moving (means: the guys with dinosaur comps have the better chances)?

111.99 seconds http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

I have a P3 450 MHz, and those blocks are quite slow.
I'll try to make my mom do that test and see how long she'll last. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Well it is quite clear that those with slow pcs are getting the better end or this deal. I tried on my kids pc(p2) and got 42.6 on the 1st try. It is alot slower on an older machine. I have a 3.0 P4 and can only get 20.8

So what does this prove. That maybe, just maybe there is hope for me as a fighter pilot.
And I need to downgrade, we've all been going the wrong way. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Yup im trading out for my kids pc, G-force 2 here I come. Watch out Warclouds!

Managed 16 secs after 3 tries. It`ll take practise, but I reckon I could do way better than that.

But I never did consider myself a real fighter pilot cos I`m not.

woot! Just managed 25 seconds!

Still goes to show the gulf between us armchair `knowitall` experts and the reality. Some are managing 40 seconds, depending on their PCs, but real fighter pilots have to do 2 MINUTES.

Somehow, I think most of us are living a dream we`ll never attain....

It's completely CPU dependant...

Brain's a haxxor!!! Ban him!!!11!!shift+1!!

:^D

Actually, that reminds me of the old days and playing Tetris on a slow PC that went between 8 and 16MHz with a turbo button.

We had this one guy going for weeks by setting incredible high scores on 8MHz and then setting it to 16MHz when he played!! LOL, he used to get so pissed!

Just boot into bios and slow your machine down and then try it again.

Make sure you have clean mouse control thingies inside the mouse if you are using the old style with a ball in it. They get grungy/filthy after a time and make the movement jerky. The newer IR mice don't have this problem though. Also having a nice smooth mouse pad will make a difference too. Ergonomic placement of your mouse and pad are obviously essential too.
