One of the guys in our squad just got a track ir 2 system. Says it's great & all. I've seen some tracks so i'm interested. But i also want the eDementiol wirless 3D glasses as well.
Just wondering how well the 2 work together with FB & if any one here is using that set up.

If so does it help any at all.

Is it worth the money i'm gonna fork out for it.
recomendations any one?

Hello

I have both and I can highly recomend the TIR2. It is really excellent product.

The Edimensional 3D glasses however is quite useless. The 3D effect is nice but the image guality suffers so much that it's really difficult to spot other planes etc. Also I usually get headache after using 3D classes. I have ATI 9800 with Edimensional drivers.

...solution is to turn on the Linda Blair view of your TrackIR and the neckpain should conseal the headache http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Seriously, i had been looking at the 3D glasses... guess i will skip them now.

yeah, I got both (TIR 1) but rarely use the glasses, in fact I only use them to show off what can be done.

They take a lot of tweaking, and need to be fully reconfigured every time you update your drivers.

Some say they don't work with ATI, Im an nVidia user currently so can't comment, but others say they do...

Sadly a bit of a novelty item, but if you can get upwards of 120hz refresh, at your chosen resolution, and don't mind tweaking the effect is awesome.
