I got this e-mail last night. For a moment, I thought I had won a lot of money then I googled New Hope Charity.

Yes, you guessed it. It is an e-mail scam. If you respond, then they start asking you to send them money for "administration" fees to cover expenses for sending your prize. Possibly from Dux Corvan in Spain. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Just kidding. He is the only Spaniard I can think of right now.

Yea, I get these all the time at work.

My favourite is the Nigerian scam with the guy who will cut you in on his $45m windfall if you help him get the money out of the country.

I like to e-mail them back that I would love to help, but need all his banking information, and $50k upfront as a sign of good will.

Funny, they never do.

No more logs Dubbo.First purchase would be an excavator with a hydraulic thumb and then maybe an amphibian so that I could fish in the remote lakes in northern Ontario.
