i've never actually tried to use a fire extinguisher on a bomber before. Which bomber is equipped with it? I wanna give it a try...

Do you see little puffs of extinguisher coming off the engine?

B25 definately. Thats the only one i really flew, but id also guess, A20 and maybe Heinkels?! Maybe Ju88. P38 perhaps.

I only know B25 fior definate, sorry. And yes you do see white stuff foaming from the engine, its quite cool http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

i actually was flying as rear gunner for the TB3, and we got flack in one of our engines, it caught fire, moments later i saw on the side:

"Engine fire extinguished" !!!

So it seems 1) tb3 is equipped ( i can just point and shoot my engine as a gunner) and extinguish a fire...

2) the AI knows to use it! (cool!) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Mosquito has them, thay have saved me more than a few times when I'm exiting the target area and pick up flak or fighters.

The only ones I know of is the B25, TB3, and Mosquito. I haven't tried to use them on every plane yet so I don't know if there are others that have them equipped.

Not all planes have it.... but to add to the list.. the A20 has them... I had a nice time with one engine and 50 miles to go.

Ki-61 does not.......The Ki-61-1c/Hei is supposed to, and unless they added it last patch it's not there......More so, it's supposed to be if they had it not just for the engine but also the fuel tanks in both wing and fusalage.

Not true-even if it was, you wouldn`t need them, because the 262`s engine never catch fire!
