trackIR owners please note we are being asked to vote in a poll about View restriction.

new trackIR driver software could allow a larger field of view than mouse/hatswitch users get in IL-2 and Forgotten Battles, if enough users vote for it!

Folks-
For the next version of the trackIR software we are hoping to put the view limitations questions to rest. So We would like to ask our users what they would prefer:

* Keep current restrictions (version 2.01) in IL-2 FB.
* Allow the user to move 180 degrees in any direction (straight back, up, down).

Note that neither option is the same as what we had in 2.0, which had no view restrictions at all (you could spin around indefinitely).
This poll will close on July 1st.

Poll Information
This poll contains 1 question(s). 4 user(s) have voted.
Voting started at June 17, 2003 03:32 PM board time.
Voting stops at July 01, 2003 12:00 PM board time.

Actually, I don´t. I´m not sure I´d like this even if EVERYONE was to have less restricted views.

I use version 2.0 Because why waist Olegs teams art work by not looking at it. I always play in cockpit mode anyway so my veiw is still blocked by seat and fuselage so I will vote for the 180 thing.

Here is a link staight to the poll.

Definitely the current restrictions, it feels "real" and that's what you want in cockpit servers isn't it? If they change it to poltergeist swivelling head mania I'll be sticking to the current drivers.

Cheers for the info, going to vote now.
