Why?

Because only 50% of the submitted bugs were emailed to the provided e-mail address in the correct format, and as requested by a few posts on this Forum and by Oleg himself.

There was a reason for the convention and a reason for consistency. Those of you posting bugs on the Forum and not utilizing the provided e-mail address will likely be overlooked.

NOT DUE to 1C "not caring about the community" but because they simply do not have the time and resources to browse these forums looking for bug reports when they should already be in their inbox.

Just a heads up when the complaining begins about where the patch is.

Personally I know of two bug reports submitted as instructed - to which Oleg actually took the time to reply.
Considering that these are the only bug reports I actually know about - I'd say customer service is extremely good. I don't expect Oleg to reply when I submit a bug report - it's enough to know that he sees them.

As for posting on this board - the stuff I've posted I understand as being conversational. Alot of times more knowlegeable people will chime in with better data or more informed opinions. Particularly as regards something as subjective as flight models - I think it's good to triangulate and document as much as possible. Anyway - that's how I understand this board in the current situation.

I agree with Tolwyn - if you are posting here - don't expect it to be treated as a bug report.

I sent information/screenshot by e-mail Tuesday evening (7:30PM Eastern U.S.) and had a reply asking for additional infomation early Wednesday morning.(the request said they could not duplicate the "bug") I forwarded the requested information, which should help. I don't expect a reply....it's probably not necessary.

I've sent in a short bug report. Nothing major but things are starting to come together very nicely and I'm not particuarly capable of submitting FM bugs.

Someone who has significantly more data than I do on them may be able to help.

I submitted a report thru the email as instructed, but unfortunately, I had only sent it as an email, and not with the form format. Luckily enough, the report was read and responded to by Mr. Maddox himself, but I believe the point I was trying to make in the report was misunderstood, or I wasn't clear enough in my description. I'm way too wordy in my writing, and I didn't take into account the language barrier. Please, if you send a report, don't do what I did, and state it very clearly.

Just so's you all know, the bug I noticed was that even while flying "Allied" planes (P-51) and shooting down "Axis" opponents (A6M5) with all the nationalities correctly set in QMB, the kill numbers at the end of the mission showed Russian symbols (the Red Star) instead of the appropriate German symbols.

Whew... guess I am too wordy!
