Yep , the Me-163, but it is not realy from PF!
I find the F4U-1D or C quite a climber.

Well, if you eliminate the jets (which would suit me just fine) I'd say the 109K4.

Nothing stopping you from doing the tests. Let us know about your results.

I bet for Zero pilot after 'ignition', or a Betty with 'afterburner'.

Easy! The BF-109 K4
This is one powerfull bird

1,800hp Daimler-Benz DB-605DCM, V12 liquid-cooled
Max Speed: 725.8km/h (451mph)
Rate of Climb: 4,823 feet/min
Service Ceiling: 41,00 feet

Real world numbers, but from my experience no prop in the game climbs with the K4. Even though the Yak9U has real world climb of 4,920 feet/min it doesnt seem to take place in the game. Ofcoarse it may get the K4 from sealevel. But once alt is acheived it will fall behind quickly.

so the 109K is the best climber in the game?

IDK Havok. Not saying you're wrong, but, it seems the perfect Ki-84 is able to climb with, or better than, the K4. At least at 3Km+. Haven't done any testing, just have seen it happen alot on a few servers lately.

both La7 and 109K4 nothing can match those two
the La7 climbs good till 8k after that the K4 takes over i guess
alteast with previous versions of AEP/FB
didnt do any testing lately

I think it is the J2M3 in real life.

OK so the La7 and 109K are the best climbers
what climbrate do they have?

To/from what altitude? It could be any of a lot of planes.

DIRTY-MAC

from 0m to 3000m?

According to IL2 compare, the 109 G2 has nothing close to it. Not even the K4 comes close. None of the new PF planes should come close to matching it either. P-38s are also hot climbers. So I say the Bf-109G2, by a wide margin. The Zero is of course up there in sustained climb.

How many f/m or m/min?
