I've been playing the last mission of Leonardos War machines, with the tanks. In order to get 100% sync, you can't take damage while in the take. When I complete the round, I always have the same number of health squares left as when I started, yet I'm always at 50% synch. There are only 6 health squares right?

When they shoot the tank it might take minimal damage and might not effect your squares. It's BS cause it happened to me.

Just gotta keep trying. You cannot be hit AT ALL while in the tank, at any point.

It gets really hairy at the end when you have to run in circles shooting 4 tanks that are shooting at you, lol.

I'm going to laugh off the last two posts, as there are only two active tanks.... the first seems credible though. Thanks guys....

I hope you have a spare 3 or 4 hours of your life to put towards this like I did. Who knows what I could have accomplished instead of wasting away my youth getting this achievement?

The game will let you know immediately when you've failed 100% sync. If you get hit even once, the "Full synchronization failed" box will pop up. As soon as that happens, you might as well restart the entire mission.

I've never seen the failed prompt come up, so I'm going to say that either the bullets don't hurt you, or the game is messed up.... Either way, once your in the tanks, you don't restart. You just commit sepuk, and go back to the last checkpoint. Granted you have to do it as soon as you loose health in it, or you go back to a point where you'll still fail.

As I explained above, the logic is somewhat faulty. The instant you get hurt in the tank, you might as well just let them blow you up, and go backt to the last check point. Once you get in the tank, that becomes the latest checkpoint, and each section after that is a new one. So basically, all you'd have to do is restart a section following my advise.

. . and that's why I finally threw my hands up and took the 50% & was happy to get to the next mission http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Once I accepted that I wouldn't get 100% on every one, the game started being more fun.
I always have another reason to replay it & try again http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Good luck Poodle

When you die and you get sent back to the checkpoint, you'll still have the Full Sync Failed. You actually need to RESTART the mission if you failed in order to have a chance to get Full Sync again.

I can't accept this as an answer, because I've tested my theory on previous Leonardo missions, and it's worked.

I almost quit while doing this but eventually on my like 10,000th try I FINALLY...came very close to getting it. Yes i'm still trying as well. It really is very hard. I'm not really sure of a strategy behind the achievement/trophy either, it's just very hard. I haven't even started working on the blasted multiplayer achievements/trophies either. Now that, for me, will be impossible.

Here's a quick hint http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Before you go head on in to the tanks (at the end of the level) just blow the doors, and edge in.
When the tanks come, edge back out of the zone until it says that thing about desynchronization.. when the screen goes funny.
The tanks will aim, but they wont shoot bro http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
That's how I done it (:
Hope i helped http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The first 5 times I did it, I tried to change direction when tanks were heading at me, and I took paths in straight lines. Bad idea. As soon as i tried circling the entire area, I beat it no problem.

I finally got 100% synch on this stupid mission. The cannon part is pretty easy, move away and try to blow up them up with barrels. The tanks in the end , take one at a time and u must keep moving and not stop for one second. Took me at 20-30 tries and like 10 hours of my life http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif

I'll fault you on the fact that this drains a slight amount of health out of you. It seems to me it doesn't matter how far back you go either... so the whole thing wouldn't work for full sync.

It does work for Full Synch. There are YouTube videos showing it, and it's the only thing that worked for me getting Full Synch. I tried to do it legitimately for hours, and kept practicing on the last area and then driving out of the doors and desynching so I could practice again. Then I finally tried the cheat and even failed the first time at that! It turns out that if a tank is starting to aim at you before you drive behind the desynch wall, they will still hit you even after you get behind it. But if you're already behind it and they aim, they won't ever actually fire at you and you can keep firing at them.

@E-Zekiel: Do you mean there are 4 tanks in all throughout the level? Because I think people here are talking about how difficult the last fortress is when there are 2 moving tanks and one stationary one.

Just as a tip, Puddle, you can pause at any time and it will show you in the center-right whether you have full sync or not. In my experience you do have to hit restart memory, even though all the other ones allow you to just die and restart at the last checkpoint.

But then again, I got it on the second try, so I didn't really look into it that much. Apparently I'm a boss in a tank http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Yep you can hit pause & check - plus I hit pause on those romulus timed sync's, it gives you your time all thru the mission.
It helped me know I couldn't possibly sync it.

No, what makes you a narcissist is rather than in a calm manner that a normal person can very easily convey, stating your facts, and perhaps providing links to proof (you did do this)...

You instead took an over the top, berating, dehumanizing, arrogant demeanor, and just because I might have misspoke on remembering something I did a long time ago after going through a mind-numbing grind trying to do it over and over till I got it....I apparently am the dumbest, slowest, biggest idiot in the entire world. And somehow because of this one error, you have dominion over me as a person, get to dictate when I speak.

Sorry, but it really is textbook narcissism, and I really think you should get help.

Your very first response amounted to looking beyond the ACTUAL POINT of the posts you quoted (which was "try, try again"), you look at the unnecessary part and dismiss everything as laughable.

Then, when I state that I remember my experience differently, you immediately jump to OMG YOU'RE AN IDIOT YOU DON'T GET TO TALK UNLESS I SAY SO.

Get help. Seriously. You don't even realize how bad you are. Whether or not you are correct is completely irrelevant to being a completely condescending ****** about it. Being right does not excuse such behavior.

Calm down. There is a real person behind the keyboard.

Being annoyed when someone else disagrees with you or has a view that they reached through logic you consider incorrect is not narcissism.

It's basic human nature. When reading something that was typed on the internet, try not to assume the worst. Generally, the person didn't mean it that way.

remember, we're communicating entirely through words lacking inflections. It's very easy to miscommunicate.

remember, we're communicating entirely through words lacking inflections. It's very easy to miscommunicate. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Actually, the part about him being an idiot, and me not wanting him to speak here any more I did mean. I told him there was two tanks, and he came out with a blantant head on lie. I confronted it with logic, and video evidence, and now he's crying like a small child.

Just gotta keep trying. You cannot be hit AT ALL while in the tank, at any point.

It gets really hairy at the end when you have to run in circles shooting 4 tanks that are shooting at you, lol.

This ^ </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I'm going to laugh off the last two posts, as there are only two active tanks.... the first seems credible though. Thanks guys.... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Maybe you kill them faster than me so they're not all spawned at once but it was 4 tanks for me. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

And this makes almost everything you say laughable now. First this, as a counter to me telling you there were only two. Then when I prove your wrong, I'm a narcassist. I'm sorry, but at this point, even the peanut gallery is telling you off.

Seriously dude, get a life. Now, before you say anything in response to this, I really, really, want you to consider what I just said. Get up, off the computer, and go for a walk, and just think about it. I mean, seriously, what do you have to lose? And while you at it, do some self reflecting, and ask yourself, "Do I have anything better I could be doing other than over analyzing every posts made by someone else online? How does trolling reflect on me as a person?"

Please get a grip, and a life. Do a little soul searching,... or are you afraid of what you might find?

There are four Tanks though. Only three are active though. One before the fortress, two active in the fortress and the empty one. He was right.

No,... no he wasn't. There are never four tanks shooting at you. The most there are shooting at you in the level is two.

Also, when you go into the fotress, and the two tanks come out,... if you go towards the one on the left, as you first go in, and look in that corner.... there are three other empty tanks there as well... But regardless of all that, we've actually been talking about the fortress, and how many tanks actually fight back. As previously proven,... there are only two....

No, because that would involve me not being right for a moment when I know that I am.... I mean, let's face it.... we all know that happens so rarely here...

Actually, he wasn't right since he was talking about 4 tanks shooting at you, while you can only face a maximum of 3 at the same time during the memory.

I wouldn't say that they were even at the same time. One is in a court yard. The other two are in the fortress a short time later. But at this point, it's almost symantecs.

Drive past that first tank in the wild, go into the workshop area, voila, 3 tanks.

1. I'm not trolling you.

2. Copying my own approach to try and disingenuously seem like the level-headed person who thinks things through and recommends help to those in need is another classic example of narcissism, done so as to win approval and support. Personally, I don't really care if you get your head examined because I don't really have much tolerance or empathy for.

3. I never continued to disagree with your facts beyond my second post when I realized my memory of the playthrough was wrong.. Only being very annoyed by your personality.
