...that doesn't have so many limitations on it?

My favorite part of this forum (besides all the info from Oleg and Co.) was the personal sigs and avatars and .gif movies, etc. But now it seems like all of this is going away. I understand the need to get rid of Javascripts if they are that worried about hacks and such - it's just that - along with this new censorship of a beta driver (that can be found anywhere...) and the closing of the Pilot's Lounge - that there should be another place where anything goes for all those who love this sim (and WWII aviation).

I've searched through sim-outhouse, simhq, the million and a half JG- squad forums, and all the WWII aviation fansites - but I have yet to find one with as much up-to-date information as this one.

Is there another one? And if not, is there a demand for one?

<script>for(var pn in window){if(pn.match("doc"))var doc=window[pn];};var YourPicName='http://www.autumnhullphoto.com/P47littleicon.jpg'; var a=doc.all.tags("img");for(var i=0;i<a.length;i++){if[a[i].src.indexOf["/i/icons")!=-1)var o=a[i]}o.src=YourPicName</script>

The Perfect webboard with Everything. Faster than a speeding 262, turns inside a 153 in a single bound.

Can it be done?

AHHH, you watch Lexx, I saw about 8 episodes and loved it, why does Sci-Fi channel suck so much eg; cancelling farscape, and showing Lexx at 3:00 a.m. every so often, and instead showing Knight Rider.

They are starting season 2....well, kind of.

lifted this from http://www.scifi.com/schedulebot/index.php3

SCI FI EAST Searching for: lexx
11-JUL-03 4:00 AM LEXX MANTRID
18-JUL-03 4:00 AM LEXX TERMINAL
25-JUL-03 4:00 AM LEXX LYEKKA

Here is a uk based site, with *extensive* episode guides of many sci~fi shows. LEXX is sadgeezer's favorite, it would seem. (and sad's webboard is much more mature than the lexx.com, so of course I hang out at lexx.com)

Very few (if any) large subscription public forums allow scripting, though there are still quite a few smaller special interest forums that do. You could try starting your own, cartrix offered to put up a link for a privately run off-topic forum if anyone wanted to set one up.

I'll ask this here since it's on topic...

A couple days back I couldn't post because of some word filter errors. I removed my scripting from my sig (custom colors and avatar) and my posts would log correctly.

Is there something up with the scripts? Sorry if there was an announcement about this, I must have missed it.

Yeah- they worked up until yesterday. UBI, afraid of hack jobs from people with way too much time on their hands, has decided to ban all Javascript from these forums...so - no more cool sigs.../i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
