Hope I am posting in the right forum...
Little introduction; I started to play Battlefield 1942 when first person shooters started boring me a bit. In there you get the chance of flying some aircraft. Well, I tried using a mouse and key board and that did not go all too well as you probably can imagine.
So I came across a copy of Pacific Fighters.. And after the purchase of needed hard ware (stick, throttle & Pedals) I started to play and learn...To find out there was more than PF. So I purchased the FB + AEP so now I can Fly german planes too.....Nice! But here is the funny thing.... The reflector sights are very much placed to the right and the Crosshairs are ample visible...Erm..? I cannot aim very well, or better, not at all. Especially on the Fw190's and Me 262's. Is there a way of getting a proper view of the plane I am trying to shoot at?

Thanx.

Search function here is not easy to use in my experience

Just post any questions you have

folks who complain about your questions are idiots

I thought the search function was still broken. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Welcome to the boards, ask away any questions no matter how noobish, and like Chuck said "folks who complain about your questions are idiots"

I still consider myself a nood, I learn something new just about every..... two weeks. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The Shift+F1-thing has confused so many people that it should have been set to gunsight view as default on the next patch. We fly with gunsight view 99.98% of the time anyway..

Considering ho wmuch there is to learn about this game for a new pilot, there is probably a nice bit of pocket money to be made out of writing a FB/PF guide especially if it had some nice historical stories and photo's along with the gaming stuff. Shame I do not have the time.

Not sure about making gunsight view the default one. I use all the views because different views are appropiate for different conditions. In gunsught you havn't got as good perephial vision as you have with standard cockpit, which again isn't as good as wide view. B&Z start of with wide, normal cokpit,,,, gunsight http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
