Hi develop. team

The N1K2-J has too short fire time for the main armament. The total ammo storage on the 20mm guns should be 900rounds in total. 250rpg for the inner guns and 200rpg for the outboard 20mm.

edit:
for the N1K2-J Ko the ammo should be

Inboard 250rpg
outboard 200rpg
Total of 900 rounds.

Is it still 4x100? It was like this up to 4.05... Thx for pointing out.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

to be honest, i expected this mistake http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

yes, in 4.07 the N1K2-Ja has 100rpg , 400 in total.
thats not correct, it have to be more.
but how much more ?!?!
depends where you are reading http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

-in Gendas Blade it has 200rpg, 800 in total.
-in Aearo Detail No26, page38, it has 200rpg for the inboard canons and 250rpg for the outboard canons, 900 rounds in total.
-same book, page66 (!), it has 200rpg for the inboard canons and 100rpg for the outboard canons, 600 rounds in total.

btw, im still not sure about the Ki-43-II guns. they have 250rpg, thats ok so far.
but they sound, look like (tracer) and make damake like US .50cal Brownings (take a P-39Q-10 to compare as example) and not like the Ho-103 like the Ki-43-Ic .

also the canons of the He162C&D are sounding and have the firerate of MK103, not MK108...........

What about Cr42? Is it still among the 'forgotten' with it's twin .50cal brownings instead of Breda Safats?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

it is , "fortunatly" for their pilots the .50cal Brownings are more lethal than the Ho-103 or 12,7mm SAFAT http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
but , sure that should be no reason not to change it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yeah! But anyway, last times I have been flying italian birds extensively, and found out that Safats are quite deadly from point blank range, while its efficiency drops rapidly with distance. A week or two ago I managed to chop entire tail section of a F4F!

BTW, all the way long ammoload for Fw190A4/5 is also wrong. It's MgFF cannons had later type drum with 90 rpg, not early one like on Emils with 60 (which we have on antons).

Kimura you need to send that in to the e-mail address they have (can't remember what it is right now). They will fix these things. I sent in corrected ammo amounts for the Tempest before we got the plane as the AI model had the incorrect amount.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I have at least two bugs to report. Does anyone have that e-mail adress to the development team for Il2?

edit: I found it; PF@1C.RU

Yep...thats the one. I have found that they don't always respond but they do read the e-mails and act on the ones they can.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

A couple of years ago, a Japanese bloke posted a scanned page from a genuine N1K2-J pilots notes on a different website. Translated it stated...

The "normal" loadout was 200rpg (800 rounds total)
The "overload" loadout was 200rpg inboard and 250rpg outboard (900rpg)

I saved the scanned page but lost it the last time my pc crashed. Hope this helps anyway.
