What city will you spend most time in? I think I will spend most of my time in Venice.

I'd have to say Florence just for the buildings and such..although Venice will be fun just swimming around in its canals http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif

Probably Venice, because it has a beautiful teal-blue tint to it, and the canals actually have crystal-blue water, dispite being the city's sewer.

I'll also probably hang out at the villa a lot too, considering the fact Ezio has an Assassin Basement with statues of famous assassins. But meh, that's just me. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

all of them, they're just so beautiful... :P

I think I need to play before making that decision, but right now I'm leaning towards Venice.

Yeah I agree, The E3 demo was done in Venice I think? Well I'm looking forward to just roaming around the streets just to get a feel for how the crowd mechanics improved from AC1.

How many cities are there going to be?

Rome as long as it isn't another Arsuf, otherwise Florence.

Here's why I think you're right.... but hope you're not. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I've been to Rome a few times and there are some things that strike me as "odd" about this picture:

http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2009/293/956858_20091021_790screen001.jpg

1: The perspective of the picture is WAY off. The city wall that Ezio is riding on should be MUCH farther away from the Colosseum. the area that that wall seems to be occupying is actually a VERY old massive park and before that a huge vineyard and is quite a bit higher up on a hill than the picture shows.

2: There seems to be a river running past the Colosseum that doesn't exist in real life.

3: The portion of the Colosseum that is "broken off" should be almost directly behind the remains of the old Roman Forum which doesn't seem to exist in this picture.

4: What you are looking at here should be the totality of what you would expect "explorable Rome" to encompass (not counting Vatican City, which is what Ezio is riding towards) and it looks INCREDIBLY small!!

I'm sure Rome opens up late in the game, I just hope it's WORTH THE WAIT!!

fingers crossed.

they have never said Rome would be an explorable city, so I doubt you are going to be able to spend much time there, my money is on it just being a mission.

[EDIT] taken from the BBFC rating, means there is probably no Rome as a main city.

in the picture above looks like the colosseum it's just to tell "oh it's Rome" but nothing more(just background), and the light it's too depresive i think it's only the last mission in wish you're going to kill the pope or something...

For me, it doesn't matter just how restricting Rome is, I will spend as much time as I can there pointing out different important buildings. I have always loved Roman architecture, so I love that kind of stuff.

Too soon to tell, but I would like to visit Venice someday, then travel to Florence.
