In an article that I ran across recently it was stated that we will play Ezio through various stages in his life. I, for one, believe that this will add an interesting element to the experience...Much better than playing as a 50yr old character the whole time, lol.

Yeah I think it will add alot to the story. This didnt really need a new thread though. Welcome to the forums!

I don't see why people don't like Ezio's age. I don't see a problem with it. Age doesn't slow down people! Look at Solid Snake and Sam Fisher http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I doubt it will affect the gameplay anyway. Besides, rarely see his face while playing you can just fool yourself into thinking he's stil young.

Well, now that I know he ages I can truly appreciate the sexy Antonio Banderas(sp?) voice. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Cause I didn't think the voice fitted a man in his early twenties, late teens.

To be honest, i would be more scared of an older assassin, it means he has more experience and therefore killed more people.

Youger assassins might make mistakes and get killed young.

You see less older assassins and loads of young ones.......with age comes wisdom....and sometimes insanity but thats another story

Hence the nut shot, eh? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif For me, it wouldn't matter who i play, just as long as they kick *** would be a good enough reason for me to like them : )

I think it's bs
if you just thing Ezio as a 25 year old
he'll be a 25 year old for you.
Seriously what's the problem?

I, for one, am pretty sick of seeing games where the protagonist is 16 or of a similar age. I mean, yeah, it was cool when I was in high school, but I graduated four years ago. I'm 6 years older than most game protagonists (especially in JRPGS).

Granted, I still like to play games starring teenagers and the like, but I'd much rather see a game involving an older main character because pretty soon, we're gonna blink our eyes and WE'LL be 45 years old swimming in a sea of games surrounding 16 year old boys and their "problems".

And I think it'll be really interesting to see the chance that such a dramatic age difference will bring in terms of his character. And I'm really eager to see if they have the same voice actor for most of Ezio's life, because I'd like to see how he handles the age differences. :]

I'm not opposed by the ages but I would rather it not be included, though it will probably be a part of the plot line. I'm happy just as long as it isn't Ezio having flashbacks when he forty-five and if it isn't a cut scene between the stages of his life then I am happy. I think an acceptable way would probably be Desmond accessing a memory timeline (thingy) with the age differences in the new animus.

I'm really excited for this game, learning more and more about it makes me want to play it, I'm sure most users could agree, although I personally like the element of surprise in the game so you don't just mentally point out 'Oh I saw that in the gameplay videos'.
