Hello,
I worked on my map and everything was fine. I used the dialogs how they were described by Ales in "Part 2: quest objectives" and it worked for a long time.

Today, I tested my map more than one time and it the dialog thing worked fine. But suddenly, it just doesn't want to work any more. I have the file <MAPNAME>_strings_De.scr in my map folder but it seems as if the editor couldn't find the file anymore.
As I already said, it work for a long time but when I wanted to test it again some minutes ago, I just get the &dlg_...& as subtitle.

Hope you understand what my problem is.

Yes, I understand. The "&<name>&" text is the ID that is in dialog script. When the file can't be opened the game will show the text from the editor. I have few ideas:

1) Create "<map_name>_strings_EN.scr" for English and also for other languages
2) Check file name and file location (it have to be in "My Docs/COJBiB/Data/MapsExtra/<MapName>/" folder
3) Open the editor, go to the any dialog object, check if there's a proper dialog ID writen (it should be in &<ID>& and after clicking on it it should appear with text) - if it's OK, it's a game problem - not ChromED's...
4) Check if you have a <MapName>.pak file generated. If yes, check if there's a <MapName>_strings_EN.scr" in the pack (open this PAK file with WinRar or WinZIP).

If it's still not this, send me your map but name the zip file like "DLG_PROBLEM-BURNING.ZIP" or something like that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

There is "stranger!)". All dialog lines have to be ended with " so it should look like:

stranger!")

That should work http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Also avoid dialogs with more than 220 letters in it. "dlg17_C*" and "dlg21_LtB*" is way to long. Create few dialog lines from whole that text.
