I was wondering if there was any plans to move to a new forum now that il2center is defunct? The WW1Project needs a new home and while I could set up at a WW1 site, it wouldn't link to the IL-2 modellers. So I was hoping some modellers could reply here and maybe take steps to set up shop somewhere else.

Just look a few posts down

Thanks to Netwings.org, IL2's modelers now has a new home!!! We are working very hard to help replace IL2 Center.

First, I would like to thank Luthier for all he has done for this comunity. Not only the modelers, but everyone who enjoys this game owes Luthier a big debt. He is the one responsable for not only the Bi-1, but the I-16 and I-153 just to name a few. Unfortunatly life has called him away, and IL2 Center has fallen into dis-repair.

Neil from Netwings.org has generously given us a new home. Currently we have only forums, but soon we will have more. Please, everyone here send him a big "THANK YOU" for his help in giving us modelers a home.

You can visit the new forums here at

Keep an eye on the forum. Once the modelers move in, you will see a lot of updates commin in.

I am now accepting donations to help get the PBY flyable.
