I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it because it wasn't working properly but in the Add/Remove programs section it goes through the uninstall process but it remains in the list afters wards. Then when I try running the game to install it again it keeps running the uninstall over and over again. How do I get rid of the game completely?

I already replied to your Query before, if this is the same issue, but you never replied back:

It looks the Game entries are still there on your PC, and a System Restore won't be of much help, apart from a Fresh OS format/re-install.

What happens when you click on the Un-install Disk Menu option ? Does it start the un-installing process ? Can you install the Game, by browsing the DVD, and then clicking on any Setup.exe file, instead of using the DVD Autorun MENU ??

If not, then first try to Manually Remove and DELETE all possible Game entries from the Installed Path/folder, as well as from the Windows REGISTRY......

The game has not been properly removed, or there might be some Game entries still on this Computer. First try to 'Manually' remove/delete as many folders and entries you find related to this game, and then try re-installing it again.

If you happen to find the following under your Windows Registry, then remove them as well. Delete the entire NODE i.e. Ubisoft:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

64 bit path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Ubisoft\As sassin's Creed Brotherhood\. After that you need to expand the Parent 'WOW6432' NODE, till you reach the Assassin's Creed entry. If you still unable to install/remove the game, then try a Restore of your OS, IF possible, to a very early date, else go for a Fresh OS Format.

Also try to Scan you computer now, to fix any Registry and other errors, by using any REG tool you may have. Google search for them, as there are many tools which can be used. Just an example:

Ok, No problem at all.....But please do report back your results, after you have tried all the necessary tweaks on your OS, if you continue to face the same problem ?

Cheers.

I presume the game was previously installed on your computer ? Did you install the game from a Disk (CD/DVD) ? Sometimes if we do a System Restore, then we can overcome this problem in time.

Anyway, I'm not fully sure, but have you tried using this REG tool i.e. TuneUp Utilities ? Try the TuneUp Uninstall Manager which comes with it.
