View Full Version : AC2 Mystery move

Hi everyone,

Recently I was mucking about with Ezio, trying out some unarmed combat. At one point, by complete fluke, Ezio struck out swiftly at a guards' neck, this made the guard drop to the floor choking, and took off about 3 health points. The guard then got up and resumed fighting after a few seconds on the floor.

At the time I thought it was awesome, but I haven't been able to recreate the move since. Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to perform this strike again? The guard was at full health at the time of the strike, facing me in combat.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated, being able to master this move should make dispatching enemies whilst unarmed a much more efficient process.

Thanks in advance.

It's one of the counter attacks. It's just really rare for some reason.

Ah, right, thanks for the fast response.

I would definitely recommend playing the original before 2, not only will the gameplay be disappointing doing them reversed, but you'll miss out on the 'mystery' ending.

Borrowed both at Christmas, 1000d both today (had to go back to the original to finish Eagle's Dive). Great games, but would not have enjoyed them near as much out of order.

There is another one that I have only done once, and that too just happened. Several quick stabs with the double blades in the chest of a soldier. Very cool and lots of sprinkling blood.

I also managed to somehow break a spear once. Made me look awesome. Too bad it was just random skill execution.
