Yes, but it's a bit complicated.
You start the game launcher and login, when it's synchronizing your save game there is a little gear icon in the top right of the window. Press it and a pop-up will ask you if you want to disable save games from being stored online, say yes. Now logout and close the game launcher, open C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher or without the (x86) if you're running a 32 bit OS and rename the "storage" folder to anything else. If you had other Ubisoft games that were saved locally you'll want to restore this folder once the whole operation is done.

After that you'll need to restart the game, login normally and let the game start, you'll now have a blank savegame, you could stop there but if you want to port these changes to your online profile keep reading. You'll have to reach the first checkpoint in the first map to save your game, as soon as you see the three red dots you can exit the map and the game. When this is done start the game launcher once again. Login and when the countdown to start the game appears, click the small gear icon again, you'll be prompted to accept that use the online savegame, answer yes and logout/close the game launcher.

Finally restart the game launcher one last time and login, when the game tries to synchronize your savegame, it will give you a pop up message telling you that your save game doesn't match. Answer "no" to the first pop up and when it asks is you're absolutely sure say "yes" (THEY ARE NOT KIDDING, YOU WILL PERMANENTLY LOSE YOUR PROGRESS) and the game should start with a blank savegame.

Hello, Community.

Since there is a new launcher/ Uplay layout etc. I would like to know how to delete a saved game, too.
Because eg. when starting the Game there is no gear anymore.
Thanks for any replies!
