I'd welcome other Kaleun's test results here. I ran this today and got the following results, but have nothing to compare it to so don't know if it's rubbish, respectable or rockin'!(You can download the test here http://www.futuremark.com/download/

For those unfamiliar with 3dMark, it's a utility that runs some pretty demanding 'movies' and benchmarks how well your system runs them, taking into account shading and lighting, frames per second etc.

Overall Score: 3904
SM2: 1767
HDR/SM3: 1775
CPU: 936

My rig:

AMD 64 939 64 4000 (Arctic Pro Cooled)
Asus A8V XE Mobo
XFX GeForce 7900GT PCI
2gb (2x1gb) Crucial PC3200 ram
Creative X-Fi Soundcard

PS: Loved the Canyon Flight Test! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gif WOW!

It's pretty good. Just don't get caught up in 3DMark frenzy like some people are wont to do. The best I've done is 4,456 but that's partly because I was overclocking my 7800GT to the max and partly because 3DMark's CPU test is multi-threaded so my overclocked dual-core 4200 gives it a big boost (1,835 v your 936) that's basically irrelevant when 99% of games are single-threaded. In my standard configuration I get closer to 4,000, with my SM2 and SM3 scores a tad under yours.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I believe the newest patch is 1.1.0. I dont know if this changes something on your results but to be sure you should run thes test again after patching. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I will post my results when ive done the benchmark.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Why? Benchmarks are just a mean way to let you think that you require an upgrade....
I guess they don't change your SH3 gameplay.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Silence is a precious comfort bonus. The worst part of my rig is the northbridge fan @6000 rpm.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

One piece of advicce for 3dmark2006 v1.1.0
It require access to Futuremark webpage to view your score. Instead save the your result as a .zip file.
It contains a result.xml document, not easy to read but does contain all the test data.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

That's because they're not movies RJ! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif At least not in the sense of pre-rendered movies you normally get in MPEG or Quicktime formats. Each test is a 'live' 3D animation, so your PC has to render the models, textures and lighting effects in real time - just like it does in a game.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
