Is anyone else having issues with Assassin's Creed on the PS3 freezing at random spots? I've had the game freeze four times on me. One was when I was eves dropping, one when it was loading Damascus, one when I opened my Memory Map just after saving a citizen, and another when I was fighting a guard.

Am I the only one with these issues? Do I have a faulty game? Should I take it back? Any advice/suggestions?

These issues sounds very randomly appearing. I can guarantee that it is either your game OR your PS3. But i can't help you further than that... as i live in EU and haven't got the game yet. Damn wait time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Maybe try playing another game for a little while and see if it freezes on you. If it doesn't and Assassin's Creed continues to I would take it back and have them exchange it for another copy.

I think he meant the game disc... It could be the game itself, and it would happen to ALL Discs, not just the one said person had got.

Not always, sometimes there are manufacturing problems on the disc. Area's that cant be read (dodgy reflective layer? Clouded transparent layer?)
