Just in case you want to test in an organized fashion and have all the pertinent data of your aircraft handy and in a coherent manner, here is the Official FAA flight testing guide for amateur, ultralight and experimental aircraft, impress your friends and get to know your mount.
I have grown fond of this document and Highly recommend it.

Cool, but I don't fly experimental, ultralight or amateur aircrafts, I fly WW2 figthers.... Muhahaha

ehem...acording to the FAA any warbird will be considered an "experimental aircraft" even though its certified for combat .......their reasoning its that they haven't been certified for civilian use..therefore are "X" planes.
