I'm not sure if that's a question, hence the lack of a question mark..

I'm betting you could run teamspeak on Windows 95 with a 400hz CPU and 128mb of RAM, if you really wanted to..

It's a simple app, and unless you've got the above system.. you can run it perfectly in conjunction with IL2.

The reason I ask is I have just started to fly online, I use dial up & was asked about using teamspeak, I can download the software but do I need a headset, intercom to communicate?

yes you need at least a desktop microphone or a headset with a built in mic. Full duplex sound card is useful to although I think that most boards out there come with a competant microphone. You may find you have to use the lowest settings on teamspeak if you are on dial up though.

You don't have to spend a bundle on a headset, either. I have one that costs about $10 US, and it works great.
