I noticed that I cannot play my map that I created by using the Save As... function. The original map can be played ok, but the newly created map will not be launched via editor or in the game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Has anyone encountered similar problem?

Do you have some errors in validator?

Validator? The map was just terrain, so no mission start and mission end. There are no quests so no errors could happen. It is just terrain, player and a horse.

Did you chcecked all the files from new map? Also try to restart ChromED.

As you see in the image there is some difference in the original files (MyMap) and save as copy (mymap3). These files (mymap3) were created automatically by the editor. There are no errors in the map. It is just terrain, player, horses, 2 houses (not rendered in the game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif). Maybe this is an editor bug?

And yes, I tried reseting the editor and the game many times.

I tried saving as another of my old maps and the same issue occurs.

Open your _StartProp.scr file and check all the map names. If there's all OK then I don't know what could go wrong...

I checked the <Map_name>_startprop.scr and I think I found a bug. Turns out that if use "Save as" function and you change your map name by adding a string at the end of the original name (For example MyMap to MyMap2) the new string you add will be duplicated in the startprop.scr file in this line:

LevelMap("Data/MapsExtra/TestMap22/TestMap2.exp")

It happens when you add any string not only a number. If you use a completely new name the editor will not duplicate the name and all will be fine.

So it's fine now? I'll report this issue to programmers.

Yes it is fine as long as you save it under a completely new name.
