Okay so I had this book once, not "A" book but "The" book to have on WWII aircraft. The book is titled "The Great Book Of World War II Fighters" This book covers the production and devolpmant of 12 aircraft.
P-38
P-51
B-17
Hellcat
F4U COrsair
Spitfire
Mosquito
Lancaster
Bf-109
Fw-190
Stuka
and the Zero
With over 400 full color illustrations including 24 fold out panels suitable for framing!

This book is huge measuring a foot and a half tall, 1 foot wide and roughly4 1/2 inches thick!

so long story short I loaned it out and never saw it again. No big deal I thought I'll just get another copy. Upon further browsing of the net the cheapest I could find this rare out of print book was 320 U.S. dollars!

Now today I found a local seller went in and bought that book in perfect like new condition and another book "wings of chance" the six year personal story of a spitfire pilot for the sum of $13 U.S. dollars! Yes thats right thirteen!!

So they have several copies left for under $20 bucks and sell on amazon.com Get yours now why you still can.

I bought that book new nearly 20 years ago for about 80 USD. It was still worth every penny, and now contains dozens of signatures of famous pilots...
Tuskeege Airmen, many American aces, a German top ace and so many more. I wonder how much that book of mine is worth now?
You have got a GREAT deal on that book. I always look for the deals on the bargain bookshelf at Borders. I have bought some good discount books there.

Odd, first time occurrence on Amazon.

The seller I bought my copy from replied, saying "the book was pulled from the shelf and not actually in the condition advertised. So, we are refunding your credit card and sending the book along for the price of shipping only, $3.99. So, looks like I will have some form of the book for $4.00.
