How do you set your message binds in IL-2? I didn't find any info on it. Is it in a .ini file somewhere? I'm talking about when you hit TAB and you can type stuff in... right underneath there appear to be presets. How do I change those? And, what are some good common ones to use online to help your team out?

bump... for example: I'd love to be able to quickly tell a wingman he's got someone coming up on his six, but I suck at typing that fast. Especially with my hands full of HOTAS... how do you do it?

You simply brig up the chat press the down arrow to the # you want to assign and type. The only time you have to edit the ini file is if you want to delete an entry, you can overite it using just the chat.
