...Rodrigo diddnt die.

So if Ezio left him there rather than killing him is that why hes there in the carraige in the trailer for AC:B. Although he died in 1503 so, remind me, AC2 ended in Rome in 1503 right? Its been along time since i have finished the game. The first time i played i went all the way through finding out i had missed loads i started again. I have done the game a good 8 times since then but have only got to Rome then not finshed (as after then there are no more unlockables) the game completley and now cant recall the end to the best of my memeory.

So if Rodrigo dies at the end of AC2 which as i recall ends in 1503 his death year?? Then surely Rodrigo cannot be in the carraige at the start of AC:B or does it start the same year and he dies in AC:B?? if so tat would make a good part of the story.

****spoiler tags added - there are still players that visit these forums and have not finished AC2. Please bear that in mind and put spoilers if you reveal this kind of information in the General Discussion Forums

It might do as i say i have got to the end lots of times but have ony bothered to finish the whole game the fir4st and second time i went all the way through so i cant recall if it does end in 1499 that would make more sense as i think i read AC:B strts in 1500ish? I could be worng though.

Brotherhood starts in 1499/1500 if I remember correctly.

The level shown at the demo which I presume is the first of the game starts in 1499, so ya. I think AC2 also ends in 1499 but I really am not sure...

AC2 finishes in 1499 and ACB starts just a few days after he gets back from the vault (according to an interview), so it starts straight away! And no doubt we will kill Rodrigo in 1503 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Some would say that. Others would say it was pretty darn neat to beat the pope up with your bare hands.
His death was pretty dramatic in real life too, what with instant decomposing stomach, skin falling off, swelling up from gasses and then intestinal bleeding to death after a week of agony and fevers. Seems more fitting for such a scumbag than a quick blade in the throat.

Which is why I doubt that we'll get to kill him. It was suspected that Cesare accidentally poisoned him with cantarella while trying to poison Adriano Castellesi.

We could be the ones poisonning him in ACB though. Not all assassinations have to end with a blade to the throat.

Exactally. and i think thats what AC:B will try to bring to the fray an opportunity to find new ways of assassinating Templars opening the door for AC:3 to be ful of new techniques i will guess.

Funny how some people find it frustrating that they could not finish Rodrigo off, I had no problem with it, Ezio's original mission was based on revenge which is a selfish act, by that time Ezio had learned there was more at stake than his petty revenge mission, in my opinion it was a great ending with Ezio being able to hold his head up, what is it Mario says?, don't become them?

DJBare the words "you are not vieri do not become him" are so true if allot of people in life heeded to these words their may not be so much disrespect in the world we live in "do not become what you most hate" anyone know who said that??

That's what i've been thinking from the very start!

A stealth mission where we sneak into his quarters while he is asleep and poison him or something!
