I noticed that with these aircraft we are seeing more of a normal FB development progress, whereas the BoB Hurricane development shots show modelling the internal structure first.

Will not all flyable aircraft in BoB have the same level of complex internal modelling?

and how will such level of detail affect online play?

personally i found the detail level in IL2 excellent. Now, in FB we must turn off skin downloading, and co-op playablity is still not as good as IL2 level.

While many players use the sim offline, the heart of the community are multiplayers.

with BOB several years out, you may wish to consider releasing a version of FB optimized for online play. I certainly would pay for it.

And of course i will buy BOB

Probably all aircraft will have such internal structure complexies. It depends of Aircraft... Simply Hurricane had the most complex details from the modeling point of view and we begun from this plane. Fiats also had complex, but not so great and in soe great amount of details need to be modelled.

AI only planes will have a bit simplified stuctural construction but just in terms of modeling. As I told many times, we are not Gods and can't do absolutely everything... Simply for that we need much more people working over it and investments that we have.

These that with the release will be AI we plan to get in time as flyable will have also complex stuctural modeling.

In FB comparing to IL-2 the online code is using more traffic just becasue of protection from a cheaters.

All were asking to escape such and such cheaters and we did it.... As I remeber I posted the answer several times already...

Without special anti-cheat protection of traffic the speed online in FB would be the same as for IL-2.

so cheaters have made play worse online - that is a shame.

I would like to have IL2 netcode myself.

knowing how busy you are, i have to thank you for taking the time to respond to both AKD's concerns and my own.

it's the quality of the sim and your personal involvement with many of our concerns which makes 1c really stand out.

of course the cheat-free enviroment is a great relief to all of us. You have done amazing job there.

But, frankly i saw no cheating in il2, except silly things like "print-screen" etc: which just created lag.

sometimes cure is worse than disease: smoothest online play is what we all seek, and what will keep your many customers playing FB for a long time and also help sell most copies of BOB possible.

Again, we play the game so much, most would be willing to pay for improved performance and addtional AC.

Please don't leave FB behind as you develop BOB.

For example: please consider making ground objects able to move in DF, or respawn possible in co-op. This would be huge!!!

Also: is there no solution to micro-pause with respawn in DF?

Lastly: OKL ground attack capabilty is still very weak. Please consider adding at least 1 strong ground attack AC, like HS-129 for OKL.

with great respect,

uhoh7

Unfortunately, LukeFF (who did the He-162 cockpit for add-on) was going to do the Hs-129 cockpit, but he recently learned he will be deployed to Iraq for a year tour and will not have time to work on it. Unless someone else picks up the cockpit, it is not likely to make it into FB.
