My method is to go for the wings from the outer most engine to the wing tip. That will be the weakest part of their wings. Once the wing tip pops off it's time to move on cause it's put the toe tag on and shut the drawer for him.

Shoot when the bomber reaches "X". The target will be quite close. Don't ram it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif If you do it right, you can put lead in it from the cockpit to the tail, hitting one or multiple engines on the way. It can be hard to do, but if you appracoh in this manner, with plenty of speed, you stand a good chance of getting away with it

I dive almost directly down ontop of them so that the rate of close is very high. in the screen shots I attack 16 heavy bombers and dive through the formation each time. not once did any of the bombers defensive guns score a hit or even come close.

to give an idea of the speed I was traveling this screen shot was taken about 1 second after I fired

you can also attack in this manner from the front. It is completely safe and works against all bombers. or isnt this what your looking for?

I like to attack from directly above in a verticle dive, too.

Its easy to repeat attacks, just pull up near verticle till you stall out, and if you do it right your still directly above the formation.

In a plane like a 190A9 or a P-47 it shouldn't take more than one pass per bomber.

This is my favorite method too. It's almost certain to be successful. If I happen to be comin head on, I like to be slightly below the bomber and I aim just in front of it as it comes toward me.
