Just took up the 88 for the first time and clobbered a runway and some trucks. Definitely got that old Werner Baumbach feeling! Everything I hoped for and more. Excellent selection of skins. One bit of advice: the small l.g. doors ought to be curved, not angular---I imagine you threw this in because perfection is inhuman! Looking forward to giving it back with the Pe-2! Good grief, this patch is the mother of all patches! How can you give us all these airplanes free? Many thanks!!!!

I couldn't imagine a better modeling of the Ju88A-4 in every respect. Deepest appreciation!

Might be a bug with the Ju88 altimeter - I cant read the 1000's of meters number in the window - it always says 0 no matter how high I am - am I doing anything wrong??

Yep, Gryphon some of the cockpit instruments aren't finished.

Simply, there was no time left to get all bugs.

And I think they forgot the pilots 20mm FF cannon too. It was fixed. Or am I wrong?

No torps, and the altimeter don't work, hence the note in the Readme "please accept cockpit as is", and the gun in the front right was sometimes fixed, but not always. In this case, it's not, it is controlled by the bombadier.

Actually there never were torpedoes for A-4 (plain version), the cockpit would need to be different. The altimeter is also right, if you look closely there is no window for moving numbers but the zero is painted in the bottom of the instrument. Kilometers of altitude are shown in the contact altimeter next to it. There were different altimeters used in 88, and that was my choice.

Please accept thing mostly refers (to my knowledge) to the radist position.

Yeah, I know about the torps being on a different version. I haven't looked at all the instruments, just that folks have said that the altimeter hasn't been working.

I think it's a fantastic pit, one of the best in game!! Much kudos to you Jippo!!

How's the speed in it? Does it hit the numbers?

Part of the success of this "schnellbomber" was exactly that; it was faster than some fighters (like Hurricanes that didn't have an alt advantage), and could handle well in a dive to get even more speed.

I'm delighted with the bomb release thingy altitude and velocity indicators... That is The Thing which made my 'no icon ,no subtitle' bombing attempts possible ...

Again Thanks and Congrats for such a great work, Oleg, Jan Niukkanen, Dietger Pohl

What a nice little airplane. Fast too. Can outrun Hurricanes quite nicely.

Yep, it's a fun plane to fly. It just feels strange hauling that big bird over into a dive - kind of like a runaway freight train! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You put it right, JG54_Lukas, like going over a cliff in a freight train!, but, what amazes me is the stability and ease of control of such a big dive bomber---it truly was a "wonder bomber."

The observer's MG to the right of the pilot could be fixed to fire straight ahead---that's why the pilot has a Revi sight mounted above the instrument panel---for one puny gun!

Oops---my error. I thought the cockpit showed the Revi but they just have the mounting bracket.
