Hi!

The other day I was checking out the speech-files in FB. In these maps there are lot's of messages I've never heard in the game.

One very important message is "You_re_cleared_for_take_off" (actor 4). Is there any way to use this message in the game? It would make take-off so much easier when you play full real (no externals), if you could recieve take-off clearence from Ground control.

Any thoughts on this?

i d love to see that in the game. i hate it to have to move the nose to either side and look out the side windows at a tiny bit of the wing of the plane infront waiting for it to move.
long talk no sense ...
please developer have a heart and give us take off clearance !

or you could just turn sideways like WW2 pilots did.

I slip side ways about 25 to 30, but you have to be careful, I've had the AI take it as a sine to GO! And run me over.DOH! This should be included in bug report, great find, I didn't know it was there!

Since we're whinning here, let me add my "poor me rhetoric". /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

It would be helpful if the Comms related to the player flight better. If the voice of player flight was significantly different,i.e., if the subtitles were orange or something.

All the gibberish comms is confusing. It would also help if the altitude and heading comms related to the player's flight. Who cares about worthless verbiage on the comms.

Sometimes more...is less (worthless)

I listen to the comms to see if my wingmen acknowledge my commands, I could care less for reading subtitles, they're distracting, and I have them turned off.

I'd also like the speed bar right under the target or directly below it in close proximity. I'd like to be able to see it when I was using normal view inside the cockpit.
Looking into the left corner is distracting during combat. I could care less about the friggin' instruments in combat.

I just need to know how fast I'm going, attitude and altitude.

There are so many referral comments to so-called realism, and then we get all this fantastically stupid stuff in so many places in IL2-FB. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I'm still very happy with the IL2-FB. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif You wouldn't know it, from reading, eh? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

WoW. Didn`t know there was extra unused speech, I must check it out. If so, why isn`t it used?
