View Full Version : 4.02 still has microstutters!

I was hoping the microstutter issue is fixed with the latest patch but it still exists. These microstutters as mentioned in numerous other posts happens at low level flight with Nvidia drivers after 66.93 and using perfect ode. In my case, I have a 6800GT. Why hasn't this been fixed? Does this mean it's not fixable? The 4.02 patch fixed missing textures but not the microstutters. It is easily duplicated by creating an IL2 ground attack mission using quick mission. At low level flight, you will see a methodical "ticking" affect witht he graphics. Please Oleg, it's been too long with this major bug. Thanks.

Just tried the new dlls but the problem is still there. This ticking effect at low level flight happens about twice a second where the video frames sort of tick, tick, tick....

I really hope 1C fixes this soon. It's been too long and I can really no longer stay on 66.93 or 71.25. (I prefer 66.93 because it has better performance in general than 71.25) but these drivers are getting too old for my other new games.

theres nothing you can really do.. I still have stutters and I have tried every tip and trick here.. I have eliminated them to at least have the game playable, but I still get them.. this problem , as I have said before, is sorta like AIDS .. effects some machines (MB-vid card-ram-cpu) combos out of the blue with no real explination as to why or how.

that's too bad. My system is very vanilla:
Asus K8VSED MB
Nvidia 6800 GT Video

I really wish Oleg and 1C address this soon. It's been months like this and as I've said, I really can't stay with 66.93 drivers any longer.

I'm using a 6600GT, and no matter what the setting are, i still have it.

May be it's time to fix that before i become crazy http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Its not just Nvidia users I see a microstutter and a quick drop in FPS all the time with my ATI now in Perfect Mode also the fun new console errors(which I believe have something to do with it)
