Maybe but remember that the B29 isnt officially modelled (no cockpit etc) so it possibly isnt there unless the B29 modell uses a 'modified' B17 flight model and the b17 has fire extinguishes??

Im not to sure how they added these hacked planes, so its hard to work out exactly if stuff will work or not.

I've been meaning to scan this and have it posted at Airwarfare, but I haven't gotten around to it yet...
From Second Air Force B-29 Standard Procedures For Pilots, 1 Jan, 1945:
Fire:
The B-29 is equipped with a CO2 system fed by two high-pressure CO2 bottles mounted in the nose wheel well. Lines from each bottle run to all four engine nacelles. The Flight Engineer can direct the CO2 charge to the desired engine by turning the selector knob on his instrument panel, and pulling the CO2 release handle (or both handles, if desired) for the bottle he wishes to use.

Norris , are you saying that the B29 is a 'hacked' P38?

Or has your wink totally thrown me off http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif?

Try the same key you would use for the p38 etxinguishes from what Norris says.

hehe..no, just being sarcastic.

P38 in first incarnation had fire extinguishers when, in actual fact, it didn't have any at all.

They've since been removed although with current levels of whining, I expect to see them back again in next patch http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

With most of the whining going on about the P-38...I'm half expecting one of the engines to be missing next patch.

More real...be sure http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You mean like in Hristo's pic?

I'll wager the other way on this one and P38 will have 3 engines and climb rate equivalent to Saturn V rocket http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

why would the B-29 be a hacked B17 , the B17 also is AI

if you ever attack a B-29 , you will see that the 29 is nothing like the simple DM of FB's box release AI - its far more complex

different controls work on AI planes that you have in flyables
