Hello all. I'm thinking of starting a project useing lightwave If I can find some photos of old german tanks. I'd like to model one of the tigers. Not that i'm planning on useing this for FB. I'm just trying to sharpen my skills with this program.
I was hopeing someone might know where to find pictures or diagrams of old tiger tanks? Also info like measurements. Just basic stuff like height, length, etc.

Your best bet for this would be to take a look at model builders sites, there's plenty of reference photos there, blueprints included. You could start with: www.track-link.net (http://www.track-link.net), www.missing-lynx.com (http://www.missing-lynx.com).

A good site with plenty of pictures is www.kampfpanzer.de (http://www.kampfpanzer.de) - until now it was only in german, but I noticed a couple of weeks ago they have upgraded it and has an english version now too. However, there are mainly modern tanks.

Try this site http://www.missing-lynx.com/
They have hundreds of tank models there and most of them are German. There many type of tanks from different theaters and good variety of tanks to. Go to the gallery to find a database of all the tank models that have ever been posted there. There are a lot of tigers. Enjoy

Hey thanks MiloMorai, that would be great. Once you scan them you can email me at wulfdazzel@cfl.rr.com. It's going to take me a few days anyway to gather pictures for all the little details so no rush http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
