NO.

The N9N was a prototype/test bed aircraft that flew during the WW2 time period.

The plane that dropped the bomb in the original War of the Worlds movie was a production model Northrop B49. A much larger aircraft.

Actually its YRB-49. Neither of Jack Northrops all-wings bombers: YB-35(piston engines)or YRB-49(jet) were produced, sadly...Interesting that Jack Northrop lived long enough to see B-2http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Try FS2004. I think that I have downloaded that plane to fly not too long ago?

When the B-2 was being test flown, the engineers at Northrop brought Jack Northrop in to see it fly. Jack Northrop had lost control of the company in the intervening years since the B-35/B-49 project. They thought the father of flying wing technology should see the proof to his theories prior to his death.
One of the reasons for the problems with the YB-35/YB-49 was that the design surpassed the technology of the period. It wasn't for the advent of modern computer avionics before planes like the B-2 could become practical.
As a side note: the Horton brothers (Go-229) were supposed to be disciples of Jack Nortrop.
Also, I believe in the 1957 film "Kronos" they re-used the 1953 "War of the Worlds" footage of the flying wing (YB-49) as well.

The New US THAAD Missle Which Uses Kenetic Energy to strike its targets.

Doesn't every missle use kinetic energy to strike it's targets? Otherwise, the target would have to run into/over the missle. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

The thing here is: no explosive warhead!
Its anti ballistic missile rocket/missile system. At THAT velocities of those two objects heading head to head, KE of impact of enough to evaporate both, including chemical load in ballistic missile. Simple idea, but to make both projectiles meet...is not easy!
