But another household work, the highly propagandized Me 109G, was obsolete when it was built and was aerodynamically the most inefficient fighter of its time. It was a hopeless collection of lumps, bumps, stiff controls, and placed its pilot in a cramped, squarish cockpit with poor visibility.

Nice video! I guess the copilot was in training? The captain asked him if he was going to land on the taxi way! I guess he was a little too excited. Then again who wouldn't be. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

A speck of dirt on your windscreen could turn into an enemy fighter in the time it took to look round and back again. A little smear on your goggles might hide the plane that was coming in to kill you.

How do you get a cockpit on a gimble to operate with your game?

Excellent video. Having been up in the Collings Foundation
b-17 several times I can vouch for it's excellence.

I enjoyed the video, not quite as much as my flight in the Collings Foundation's B-17, but it does bring back the memory.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Ya what a life for them, flying a B17, I would kill to be part of that myself. Something their grandfathers probably never thought would happen. I was looking for an RC Model B17 flight video when I found that.

I know that have had one up at Oshkosh most years; but I do not remember THAT one being the one they offer rides on.

For those who could make it:

But I think you have to be an EAA member.

<EDIT> Correction: here's a direct link: http://www.b17.org/ Have yet to do this myself </EDIT><div class="ev_tpc_signature">
