Where is that feel that the first game had, if we had all this mission variety, combined with the atmosphere of AC1 then ******* it would be a great game.

This is why I can't wait for ACR tomorrow. It's got that middle eastern feel.

That's because AC1 took place in a dark time. The Ezio trilogy takes place in the freakin' Renaissance! REBIRTH!

Not sure what you mean.
When I think "gritty, gloomy, wet, dark feel", first thing that comes to mind in the AC series is all the great catacomb, tomb, & Templar lairs in ACII & AC:B.
The original AC had, plague-ridden Acre & That's about it.
The AC series and considerbaly gotten a bit "darker" since the first game.

I think AC3s new assassin will go back to being a hardass rather than your everyday love-able guy also.

It was cool to follow Ezio's and Tahir's life all the way from their young prime days to their deathbeds or should I say, deathseats
