Okay this is the very beginning of Memory 2 Sequence 9 or "The Seed". It focuses on Cesare Borgia's death. But it also focuses on his eye which looks like a symbol I remember...maybe it's not and I'm just stupid...

what do you guys think?

heres the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBhugK5zNVI

Yeah I didn't really notice anything but I think there is something to the fact that altair and ezio have both been stabbed in the abdomen without dying. and it never gives a real explanation either. just ok I'm ok now. In the first assassin's creed Altair believes he is dead but just isn't somehow. and al mualim says he wanted him to believe that. What?!, I think there is something to that.

Do some research on the Assassin sect during the time (the ones that happened in real life). They were rumored to use hallucinogens and psychedelic drugs combined with the heaven behind the fortress (where you fight Al Mualim and can visit during the game) to make you believe you had been shown heaven by the leader, who then promised you all those rewards if you served their cause. While it was written extensively about by Marco Polo, he had actually not ever visited the fortress in Syria, which is where the first Assassin's Creed game's fortress was based out of. Therefore, his information is suspect and likely to have been largely made up or created from legends from the surrounding areas.

However, it is likely that they were poisoned or drugged to believe that they were in a heaven of sorts, but probably not by "hashish" (which is what they're semi-famous for).

Also, any records that the Assassins kept in their fortress were destroyed by the invading Mongols.

I would suggest this page (first info box down): http://www.alamut.com/subj/ide...lamut/etymolAss.html (http://www.alamut.com/subj/ideologies/alamut/etymolAss.html)

And this pdf: http://www.iranchamber.com/his...assins_of_alamut.pdf (http://www.iranchamber.com/history/ismailieh/books/the_assassins_of_alamut.pdf)

And before anyone thinks I do this out of boredom, I actually did this for an English research project.

About the Alta´r/Ezio stabbing:

Alta´r only saw that he was stabbed. The "sleep of the dead" thing suggests he was drugged. The "you saw what I wanted you to see" thing could perhaps be PoE-related? (afterall, Alta´r was susceptible to some of its effects, such as seeing the attacking Assassins as his dead targets)

The first time Ezio was stabbed was fair enough. He passed out and bled everywhere (don't forget, he was stabbed by a dying man, so he can't have been stabbed that hard). The second time Ezio was stabbed was weird until it was explained in Brotherhood.

Mario: Did Rodrigo manage to hurt you?

Ezio: Barely. My armour blunted his attack.

Remember he was wearing Alta´r's armour at the time!

above poster is right.
about the symbol. I think you see Cesare's eye, which at that point strongly resembles the Eye of Horus. It's one of the glyphs and apparently it's related to the masonic eye.

YES! That's it! I knew I saw a glyph, I just couldn't remember which one. So what do you guys think? they focus on what Cesere says and show the eye of horus...has to mean something
