Hi guys, Mission Mate v3.5 is now available from M4T. As promised this update implements the use of mission template files as a background to all the usual Mission Mate quick mission action.

The plane selector tool in the mission builder was a very good addition in the last update. Many thanks.

Could someone help me please? I have just downloaded and installed 3.5 and when I try to run it I get the following error message:-

"Run-time error '429' Active X component cannot create object"

I've never had any trouble with any of the earlier versions, including version 3, however since loading version 3.5, version 3 gives the same error message when I attempt to run it.

Thanks for a great program CrazySchmidt

I just got the same error after uninstalling 3.0 and installing 3.5.

I gotta poke around and see if I did something wrong.

Okay, the 1st install I just highlighted my IL2-46 folder on the file set up locator and it had the error when I tried to generate a mission.

I did a quick reinstall, but this time I actually double clicked my IL2-46 folder leaving it highlighted and opened . Works fine now the best I can tell.

I'm at home with a day off which means I can jack with this stuff. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Guys, this is a good point. I have had this question a few times before. You do have to expand the IL-2 folder by double clicking otherwise MM thinks you're point to the directory above the actual target.

I am not sure we are talking about the same issue I get the error message before any of the program has chance to load.

I'd try installing a new download of MM today then. Ditch your last download, it may be bad.
