Hello,

I've recently drawn 2 sketches of the He-219. Just thought I'd share them, as I am in the progress of making a painting of it. (one of my hobbies)

It's not quite perfect yet, like the engine cowling/propeller etc. I also want the final painting to be "reversed" in color, it will be at night with the moon visible in the background, meaning the visible side of the plane will be much darker, silhouette like.

Oh well, just gotta keep trying to get the shape better first http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Enjoy!

@ Juego: thx for the links, most of the pictures are from the same plane (the example captured by the British) I use as a template example and I haven't seen some of them before (saving locally right now!).
I have some days off, so if I don't stick around here too long I'll try to make a new and better version so I can get on with the real painting...

@IceFire: thx for the compliments http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Stick figures? Maybe you can help me out on the antenna array then? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I've always been fascinated by this machine, despite the fact that it has got to be the ugliest design to see combat in WWII. Although, the Me-210/410 ain't beauties either, IMHO...

New and improved: my third He-219 sketch. I won't bother with posting the first as it's barely recognizable as an He-219 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif But hey, isn't that what skeching is for?

BTW, I've started a little too high, so it doesn't fit on the paper... grrr!

EDIT: spell error and BTW comment.
