Couple months ago when I had some time to kill I started to make this, mostly just to learn how to build a pit, since the last deadline was way back in spring. Thought it would be a useful experience and lot of fun, and it was. Now the pit is at Oleg, and though he said he likes it naturally its not 100% that it will make it to the game. It all depends on how much time they will have, since they already have hell of an amount of 3rd party stuff to take care of, let alone BoB.
Anyway, hope you like it, hope you can see it again in game. Thanks goes to SaQSoN, who told me the guidelines and put it into the engine, and Martin who did all the research and error-picking.

Never mind the weird error with the ammo in the box, its just I forgot to hide some parts that are now overlapping. If programmed, it will be an animated ammo counter.

And again just for the record, not sure that this is gonna make it, and I knew this when i started it, but here it is anyway http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Top notch work... looks great. Will the rounds in the 2 ammo containers disappear as you fire your weapon?

Hey Jutocsa IMHO that belongs among top 5 cockpits for FB game I ever saw and those are; Tempest, I-185, Bf110 and Beaufighter. I sincerely hope that it will find its way in game.

Well done!

At this very moment I couldn't identify an Avia B.534 from a lineup. I don't know where it was flown or by what country ...

I just know that all of a sudden I want it realllll baddddd!

Excellent work! It would be tragic to see all that great work go to waste if Oleg can't find a use for it in the series.

I especially like the levers and the seat.
And the "ammo counter" is a great idea http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

Thx http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I will be back into skinning once BoB is out, but for now, modeling is a lot more fun. Not to mention it involves more skinning too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hurray! Would love to see this baby in game! Now, if we can just get the U-2VS too, our biplane compilation would be complete!

Mwahahahahahaha!

Lovely pit, there!
Now just some Royal Yugoslavian Air Force markings for the Gloster Gladiator, a Balkans map and at it we'll go...

Err, Hurricane MK 1, I mean. Not Gladiator. But that's still great work, that pit is.

I'm wondering how the Avia will compare in game to the other biplanes?

Any ideas?

Great http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif, I was wondering about if it will became flyable.

It did very well against our transport Ju-52s and pretty bad against our Cr.32s http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif So..it must be somewhere between the two http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif)

If you squint you almost see a bit of Pitt's Special in the B.534. Neat plane.

GOD I LOVE THIS PLANE.
That is abeautiful cockpit man.
The Avia B.534 would probably be my favourite fighter of WW2, if Oleg doesnt make it flyable ill be a sad sad man.

Definitively a must in the Slovakian map Ianboys and co are working on.

BTW, they performed poorly against Hungarian CR.32, but they were late CR.32 types, and conditions were dismal. Also, don't forget CR.32s were among the most aggressive and fastest late biplanes. IMHO, Avias should be similar to Gladiators in performance, a bit faster and a bit less aerobatic. And rather sturdy.

I love biplanes, and B.534 -with its mixed characteristics between two technological generations- is one of the most beautiful of all.
