Wow what a convoy attack - BDU would be proud http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Not seen an ancient liner yet, how many torpedoes did you need for that one? I take it you are playing with your ship's mod and GW, yes?

I guess with all that weight, once she lost boyancy she would sink very fast http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I bet couldn't believe your eyes when you first saw the convoy http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

How many escorts? Was the lead escort the one you attacked and sunk first? And were you using a Type VII or IX?

i saw 5 ..no it was the flank starboard side escort..at about 220*..i was sitting at about my 345* to the convoy letting them come to me ..i opened the engagement at 1400mtrs ...worked my way into the 2-3 lanes for cover from the dd's and finished off the ammo freighter and swooped the hell out the area...
