Hi, everybody, first of all, I want to apologize myself about my bad english, but is not my native language, so I'll try to do my best.
Days ago, I installed AC: Brotherhood on my PC but the experience is bad.
The game constantly suffer fps drop(doesnt matter if is on the city with a lot of buildings or in a place with few objects), and sometimes(this doesnt happen very often) it freezes for 2 or 3 seconds. Finally, the cinematics are delayed with the sound
I tried setting everything to minimun, but its the same as in maximum. Also tried with low resolution like 1024*768 and the game isnt fluid.

My specs are:
AMD Athlon II X3 445
4GB RAM
Motherboard: Msi 760Gm-P33
GeForce GTX560Ti
Windows 7 (64)

On this pc i can run perflecty (with high settings) other games like AC 2,Pro Evolution 2011, The Witcher 2, etc. So, I can assume that is not hardware problem.

Things I tried:
-Put everything to minimum, no changes
-Tried with drivers 275 and now 280.26, no changes
-Following the instruction of this topic: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/foru...1067519/m/8991088229 (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5031067519/m/8991088229) , no changes
-Installed and played without the patch, no changes
-Installed and played with the patch 1.02, no changes
-Install the game in another HD, no changes
-Do a desfragmentation, then install de game, no changes.

Is the first time I have a problem like this and I dont know what more can I do to fix this, I really want to play this game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot for your time!!

I have no explanations for these freezes; at least not if you aren't using a SSD as your OS-harddrive.

Generally I've found 'Brotherhood' to be demanding for hardware. (Some say it is poorly optimized for PC -- this might be true.) I several times upgraded my graphics card during the year, and only from a (Nvidia) GTX570 upwards the game began to run really smooth. And still there was some (minor) stutter regularly (every 3 to 5 seconds).

Finally I tried to overclock my CPU (Intel 2500K), and that really helped quite some more than OCing my graphics card... So that may be YOUR main bottleneck too? (I have no clue how "good" or "bad" your AMD-CPU actually is.)

Hi, thanks for your answer
My HD isn't SSD.
About the CPU, is a tri-core CPU, is not the best but should be enough for this game, the strange thing is that the game doesn't matter if is in min or max settings, run exactly bad.
Maybe is as you say that my CPU is the bottleneck, but, in that case, setting the game to minimum should help to improve the performance and that does not happen.

About the graphic card (gtx 560ti), the game came included with the card, so if the company sell the card and the game together, it might run ok i think.

Somewhere in this forum i found some topics with more or less the same problem but as me didn't found a solution http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Well, it might be that a significant part of the workload is delegated towards the CPU. (I've a suspicion it might be the little "AI" of all those folks populating the city.)

See above. But you are right, the game definitively should not be so demanding that only upper class graphics cards can run it properly. A GTX560 TI should be sufficient to run it properly at least on "medium" settings and resolutions (~900 x 1600).

So perhaps in your case there really is a specific problem involved. Good luck with finding a solution!
