I played the demo once and found it extremely laggy. I haven't taken the time to properly configure it, I was wondering if there were any tips or suggestions from those of you playing it.

No, it's set to release in English next month. But this is an international, and hardcore, gaming community, so I thought I'd ask.

Yeah I think there are other language versions out, probably being used as 'unpaid beta testers'

Cant wait to play this myself, I loved Operation Flahpoint, and this is the real Opflash 2, by the same team. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I read a review earlier today. It is released by download from a site in Germany, and there is a community-made English-language patch available. The reviewer didn't comment on the patch, other than to say that he'd used it.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I live in America and I have the English version of Armed Assault.

The way you can get it is download it from an e-retailer called Sprocket (like Steam for Half-Life) from Czechoslovakia. The price came to ~$44 USD.

Now that you have the Czech version you can download the Czech or German to English patch from here: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikon...;act=ST;f=64;t=54593 (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?s=96e06c28348bfe6fef259d3796cceecf;a ct=ST;f=64;t=54593)

To rid problems with lag try turning down the shaders in the video options.

This is a great game...It's the IL-2 series of FPS's<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

the game has some issues but they are minor really..the game play is unbeatable.the english patch works like a charm..the dl version is unlimited so no need to worry..also you can save it to disc and you will have it. Buy it if you like military sims..not to mention that once the mod tools are released..well whole new ball game then.

I think I will wait until it comes out on disc, then buy it.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
