I've been playing music for almost 40 years-mostly rock 'n' roll, but also love the blues.

Riding motorcyles, designing my own naval wargame (tabletop game, for miniatures), doing artwork for a friend's games.

I too have built models all my life; one of them is even in a museum! Our local air force base is named Hill AFB, after Major Ployer P. Hill, who died in 1935 testing the original Boeing 299, the prototype for the B-17. For the base's 40th anniversary, in June 1990, I built a model of that particular plane. We took pictures, but not very good ones (neither my friend nor I understood close-in focus techniques).

Today, 14 years later, the model is the centerpiece of the Hill Field museum. Here are three of the pics:

I study feudal japan. From fencing to tea ceremony, from history to architecture! Just lovely to see how much even this isolated country has been linked to the world!

Well i do 1/35 armor and infantry,I do not have so much!
When I still was a student I haden't the money and now I don't have the time to do it all!I have the wirbelwind, panther early version,Marder III,T34/76-T34/85,jagdtiger working on maus, luch, sturm IV and the brumbar!
For planes I have Spitfire,Lancaster- dambuster,Natter(rocketplane 1 time launched pilot died),H111 H22 & V1,FW109,ME410.
Then I have 1 diaorama litle bit old.
For the rest I have some litle more stuff like soldiers 1/16 scale and some cars and AT guns.
I also try too redo my oldest models but this a hard and difficult work!!!
I'm going too lend a digital camera and put them all on my Sudden Strike 2 clan site!
It would be great if we could share some info and how we work too learn more too built better!

Another used to be modeler here.
As a child lots of airplanes Then stoped.
In 91 went to London. I passed by an Airfix store. Made a mistake and went in. For the trip home I had to buy two large sportsbags to accomodate all the models. Since then I had built some 70 Airplanes, latter I started to get interested in WW2 german Armor and dioramas.
I also have a 1/72 scale model of a flower class corvette - with lights.

I live and work in Alaska, USA.

My major interests are:
The detailed study of military history with specialization in reconnaissance and fortifications. The last couple of years I have focused on WWII submarines and U-boat history, operational command, etc.

Hobbies that I am into are whitewater jet boating, flying floatplanes, snow machining, fishing and hunting. I love to build extremely realistic scale models of reconnaissance aircraft.
