I noticed this on my second go round through the game.

In the city of acre, everyone is predominately white, speak with a british/english accent and the "public speakers" are speaking out for the crusaders, rather than jerusalem and damascus praising Saladin

So is there historical meaning to this? Was it taken over by the crusader's previously? Most of it seems to be in ruins.

At the time Acre was controled by Richard. The other cities were not.

I liked Acre for it's differences.
I tried to order the missions in a way where Acre would always be last. So I could think phew, something other than middle eastern themes.
Plus, the beggar women are funny sounding rather than annoying.

lol, the Crusaders took over the city, then they treated it like **** so thats why it looks like ruins.

funny thing, when I was collecting the flags, one of them was right next to dead guy who's brains were spilled out, honest to god! kinda like a funny easter egg.
