Now that is way cool. Look at the instruments on his panel. The readings match the gauges on the screen, so they seem to be actually working.

More info please.

Form of the internal line-up of the cab of trainer "attack aircraft" (GPTAM Of "aeromash", Belarus').
This version of trainer repeats the device of destroyer Yak-3. After steering control RR_.Sky (it is no it can be erroneous, it is necessary to refine).
Exposure on the exhibition MAX -2005.
Are taken on 19 August, 2005.

Well, it still looks Greek to me...

Thats the Aeromash booth cockpit from the MARKS airshow. Don't you ever visit the official site:

http://www.pacific-fighters.com/en/screenshots.php

It's a real simulator. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Oh - the map isn't real...

Can't the computer run two monitors, then drag the map to the second monitor?

I think the 'map' on the right is just a dud... It appears he still has the in game map showing on the monitor.

It could if the map was able to go full screen.

Be careful what you wish for..

Because at one end of the scale you have this..
http://www.pacific-fighters.com/ss/MAKS_1CBooth_speaker.jpg

and at the other you have these, (that lucky sob)
http://www.pacific-fighters.com/ss/MAKS_OM_cockpit.jpg

But, as with all things, most of us fall somewhere in the middle.

Yes, it's Sergey Golovachev (Araks) on the photo.

BTW, this Aeromash "booth" is hydraulically operated and responds to aircraft movements.
Advanced forcefeedback, one may say so. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I really must be doing something wrong, I wake up, I slave all day long, I collapse into bed exhausted and barely able to give the missus the daily maritals, and still I can only afford 28 inches.

Sigh. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

He has a widescreen monitor. So, I suppose the gauges compensate for the row of gauges he loses in the virtual cockpit.

Wake up earlier, slave more and cut down on the "maritals" to 5 times a week. Oh and give the missus a small cut of the extra $

My comment was for the normal cockpit view. <STRIKE>In this Yak for example due to the widescreen monitor he's lost one and a half rows of gauges.</STRIKE> Instead of looking down with his trackir or hatswitch he looks down at his "real" gauges. Terribly inconvenient. I don't have TrackIR, but I'm sure it's more convenient.

Btw, how do they look around. I don't see any hatswitch or anything.

Now about the other guy, someone who uses wonderwoman wouldn't look at the gauges anyway http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

edit: He is flying a Yak3, 9U or UT. He doesn't lose any important gauge in the widescreen monitor.

With the cockpit setup and screen, may they couldn't afford a Tracker IR. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif LOL
They sure are missing out tho without one.
