The last true Dive Bomber produced for the US Navy. While often maligned by some critics, the SB2C€s were responsible for more ship tonnage sunk during WWII than any other aircraft.

Will this important dive and torpedo bomber be done for PF Dave?

I, too, would love to see the Helldiver as a flyable. I just looked at Burnin's modeling database at http://jg777.com/il2/database/usa/ (don't know how up-to-date it is), but didn't see anything regarding a Helldiver work in progress. Given the current issues surrounding the aircraft companies' trademarks and Oleg's post, I'd say don't hold your breath for anymore US aircraft addons. It might all be cleared-up soon, but it's too soon to know.

Curtiss aircraft should not be affected by this.

They are in no way connected to Northrop-Grumman, except as suppliers of parts.
