Huh... that's funny, I just now realized that they haven't actually told us what the creed is...

Maybe they'll reveal it in the second or third game.

Or the fourth. Because after the first three, they'll start a Creed RTS. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

The creed was listed in the game. At the begining. By Al Mualim.

I haven't played the game for several months so I can't list it here, but it is in the game. >_>

He listed the tenants of the creed, but not the creed itself.

He gave Altair the Forum Rules but didn't allow him to read the Forum. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

i think it's just the tenants. what other rules would an assassin follow apart from not hurting/killing innocents (including the so-called innocent drunks >.> )remaining subtle and never endangering the brotherhood

Uh... more important things like what they live for, fight for, stand for, stand against, etc.

A creed is like... your code of life, what you're all about. It's your statement. They're all about fighting so that there may be peace in all things. But if they were all about "refraining from the flesh of the innocent," then they'd probably be more like a little yoga circle that doesn't step on bugs and makes sure that their plants get enough water. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I think what Al Mualim says is just what they use as rules of the creed, but not the creed itself, to prevent them from becoming what they fight against (as Altair nearly became).

Also, notice near the end, Altair says to Malik, "stop wielding the creed and its tenants like some shield." Two separate things. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
