This is chronicling the commercial version of OSSI's Operation Barbarossa, btw.

Quit trying to promote your cheesy "operation barbarosa" payware addon of skins and just missions for more then half the price of the actual game! I have no respect for you at all! 99% of us spend many hours making utils mis skins for free, join the freaken crowd and stop ripping people off

Its not MY payware addon. I get zip, zilch, nada. I am a person playing the sim the same as everyone else. I enjoy doing the writing and I thought some others might enjoy reading it, thats all. Its done for fun. How you would come to a conclusion about your "respect" for me is interesting. How DO you reach that conclusion. Tell you what, tell me privately at dennis.koehrer@us.army.mil so we don't have to bore the other forum members. Looking foward to hearing from you and your interesting perspective.

I visted the website. Other than being slow. It was interesting to read the war jounal. I didn't see anything on the site promoting some type of payware.

I hope you spent more time preparing responses for your other 999 posts. Our group takes great pride in keeping War Diaries for our online and offline missions.

How did you ever come to the (incorrect) conclusion that this was our addon? And on top of that, if I chose to spend my hard earned money on Operation Barbarossa, that's my business and your opinion under these condtions is meaningless (in fact it's destructive dribble).

You don't speak for me Leadspitter, or our group. You see, one can disagree without being personally insulting.

The site is fantastic - don't listen to the others - some people around here never have anything positive to say. I loved the diaries - especially since I'm thinking of doing the same with the squad I joined. Only critique - the entries are too short!

Keep us updated!

Thanks JRH,

Here is a link to get you started: http://www.users.on.net/mjtm/IL-2/

il-2 Shturmovik Stab Version 3.1 by Matt Thompson-Moltzen. It has a wicked neat War Diary that also allows you to see the logfile.

Once you figure out the format, you can just update the book accordingly.

How funny is that? I actually have Stab already installed and didn't even know about the War Diary option - I'll have to check it out tonight. Thanks!

JRH,

Your not alone, half our squad was using it and didn't notice it either, LOL.
